A Day in the Life is the latest film release from the World Surf Images crew. Matty Gye, Shaggs and Rick Jakovich are the brain and angles behind the international award winning films "3DEGREES" and "MONTAJ". Shot in virtual every corner of the earth and shinning an alternate light on the sport of surfing, the film shows how diverse every surfers life is, "A DAY IN THE LIFE..." could be discribed as a tale of classic short stories.

Shot on brillant 16 mm film and video, the film has a great blend of water shots and land footage. The variety of camera angles does a great job of capturing the "Surfer's Eye" view.

Unique in structure, the film shows just how different the life of every surfer can be. Metallica also make a guest appearance and open themselves up like never before. It's great to see them having a good dig at surfing but as far as ability goes, they are truly great musicians.
